Books as insulation...another good reason to have a home library

This is courtesy of BoingBoing. They have linked to an article about home libraries that mentions that lining your house with bookcases full of books acts as additional insulation, and can help keep your heating and cooling bills down, in addition to looking great.

I can certainly think of some book collectors who are happy to hear this. And of course, the money you save on utilities can be reinvested into the collection...
